The Moonboard mat (Pad System) is a bouldering safety mat essential for use beneath a climbing wall, modular climbing wall or climbing trainer.

Mat specifications:
– dimensions and shape tailored to the climbing wall’s design
– the safety mat for the Moonboard has been designed with functionality and safety in mind
– the Moonboard mat is based on a hybrid bouldering mat, i.e. it combines the best features of a mat with a PVC cover (min. 900g/m²) and a mat with a carpeted top
– the top layer is joined together using a system of connecting flaps
– the mat’s deflection characteristics result in fewer injuries, as they ensure a stable landing position
– a very stable core construction for the Moonboard mat, consisting of inserts made from several layers of PU and RG foam of varying densities and hardnesses
– harder inserts are used at the front of the mat, ensuring a stable entry onto the mat and increasing its lifespan
– the core of this mat is assembled using a DIY (do-it-yourself) system without the need to glue the inserts together
– highly durable top covering made from Cfl-s1 flame-retardant carpet and PVC
– the independent assembly system for the PVC cover and carpet allows for the replacement or adjustment of the carpet in 2m-wide strips, without the need to replace the PVC cover
– thanks to the carpet, there is no dust in the air (cleaning with a vacuum cleaner)
– fully finished corners and edges
– an additional feature of all our bouldering mat models is the dampening of landings during training!

We work with climbing wall manufacturers to ensure full compatibility. We provide 2D drawings (AutoCAD, SketchUp) and 3D models (SketchUp), enabling precise visualisation. We also offer a wide range of cover colours to suit the character of the space.
